Help Young People Grow Up

All young people deserve to grow up safely and thrive. Learn more about how you can help prevent youth violence.

Stillbirth

Many families are affected by stillbirth, which is the loss of a baby at or after 20 weeks of pregnancy. A study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that Black mothers were more than twice as likely to experience stillbirth compared to Hispanic and white mothers

Get Your Flu Vaccine

Getting a flu vaccine during 2020-2021 is more important than ever because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Flu vaccination is especially important for people who are at high risk from flu; many of whom are also at high risk for COVID-19 or serious outcomes.

National ALS Registry

The National ALS Registry provides hope for patients and data for researchers. According to the most recent estimates from the National Registry, nearly 17,000 people in the U.S. are living with ALS.

Global Handwashing

The COVID-19 pandemic provides an important reminder that one of the most effective ways to stop the spread of germs and stay healthy is also one of the simplest — handwashing with soap and water. Keeping hands clean can prevent 1 in 3 diarrheal illnesses and 1 in 5 respiratory infections, such as a cold or the flu.
