Testing and Clinical Management of Health Care Personnel Potentially Exposed to Hepatitis C Virus — CDC Guidance, United States, 2020 CDC has updated guidance for laboratory testing and follow-up of health care personnel who have been potentially exposed to hepatitis C virus (HCV) to include testing for antibodies to HCV 4 to 6 months after exposure. The updates also reflect guidance from professional organizations that recommend treatment of acute HCV infection.

Estimated County-Level Prevalence of Select Underlying Medical Conditions Associated with Increased Risk of Severe COVID-19 Illness — United States, 2018 Older adults and those with certain underlying medical conditions are at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19. The prevalence of any of five underlying medical conditions associated with increased risk for severe COVID-19 among U.S. adults was 47.2% among 3,142 U.S. counties.
