Flu Can Be a Serious, Life-threatening Disease   Flu places a substantial burden on the health of people in the United States each year. CDC estimates that flu has resulted in between 9.3 million – 45 million illnesses, between 140,000 – 810,000 hospitalizations and between 12,000 – 61,000 deaths annually since 2010. Annual flu vaccination has been shown to prevent millions of illnesses, tens of thousands of hospitalizations and thousands of flu deaths each year.    Learn More

Updated Interim Guidance for HCPs: Managing Patients with Suspected EVALI During Flu Season Because patients with e-cigarette, or vaping, product use-associated lung injury (EVALI) may have similar symptoms to flu or other respiratory illness, diagnosing and managing these patients can be challenging.
