Weekly U.S. Influenza Surveillance Report

According to this week's FluView report (Feb 24- Mar 2), seasonal flu activity remained elevated in the United States. Thirty-two states experienced high influenza-like illness (ILI) activity. CDC estimates that flu has caused as many as 26.3 million flu illnesses, 347,000 hospitalizations and 31,200 deaths so far this season.
