Weekly U.S. Influenza Surveillance Report
CDC's Influenza Division produces a weekly influenza surveillance report, FluView. According to this week's report (Feb 10-16), seasonal flu activity increased in the U.S. New York City and 30 states experienced high influenza-like illness (ILI) activity. CDC estimates that flu has caused as many as 20.4 million flu illnesses, 256,000 hospitalizations and 22,300 deaths so far this season.
