Release Note (8/28/2018)
A new CVX code has been created for a foreign use vaccine:
- 193 – hepatitis A and hepatitis B vaccine, pediatric/adolescent (non-US)
- This CVX code has been assigned to the vaccine groups for HepA and HepB

In an effort to standardize, complete or correct records, many existing NDCs have been updated since the last release. The types of changes made include:
- The outer route (OuterRoute), outer package form (OuterPackForm) and start/end dates (OuterStartDate and OuterEndDate) elements have been updated or added for a large number of Unit of Sale NDCs. A detailed list of NDCs is available upon request.
- The start/end dates (UseUnitStartDate and UseUnitEndDate) elements have been updated or added for a large number of Unit of Use NDCs. A detailed list of NDCs is available upon request.
- GTINs have been removed from Unit of Sale and Unit of Use NDCs which are not 2D barcoded and have been added to existing Unit of Sale and Unit of Use NDCs which are 2D barcoded:
