Weekly U.S. Influenza Surveillance Report
CDC's Influenza Division produces a weekly influenza surveillance report, FluView. According to this week's report (March 4-10), seasonal influenza activity decreased in the United States. Twelve states still experienced high Influenza Like Illness (ILI) activity levels.

People at High Risk of Flu Complications
While anyone can get sick with flu and become severely ill, some people are more likely to experience severe flu illness and complications that can result in hospitalization or even death. Flu can also make chronic health problems worse. Talk to your doctor if you’re at high risk and experience flu symptoms.
