This study examined the relationships of maternal obesity and gestational weight gain with asthma in offspring and used data from the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study–Birth Cohort, which has a nationally representative sample of children followed from birth in 2001 through age 4.

Tackling Breast Cancer: The Right Treatment for the Right Woman at the Right Time

Racial/Ethnic Health Disparities Among Rural Adults — United States, 2012–2015

Providing Quality Family Planning Services: Recommendations of CDC and the U.S. Office of Population Affairs published in 2014 established standards for providing a core set of preventive health services for women and men aged 15–44 years. This report provides baseline estimates of the use of these recommended preventive health services during 2011–2013 among women and men of reproductive age.

Increased Risk for Mother-to-Infant Transmission of Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) Among Medicaid Recipients, Wisconsin, 2011–2015
To estimate the proportion of infants born to HCV-infected women and the frequency of confirmed HCV infection in their infants, maternal name and date of birth from HCV reports in the Wisconsin Electronic Disease Surveillance System were linked to Wisconsin Medicaid data for 2011–2015 births.

Hypertension Prevalence and Control Among Adults: United States, 2015–2016
Overall, the prevalence of hypertension among adults was 29.0%, and was similar among men and women. Men had a higher prevalence of hypertension than women among adults aged 18–39  and 40–59, but men had a lower prevalence of hypertension than women among adults 60 and over.
