2017-2018 Flu Season Vaccine Recommendations
CDC published an MMWR this Thursday, August 24, containing influenza vaccine recommendations for the 2017-2018 season. This report updates the 2016–17 recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) regarding the use of seasonal influenza vaccines. Routine annual influenza vaccination is recommended for all persons aged ≥6 months who do not have contraindications. A licensed, recommended, and age-appropriate vaccine should be used.
