Significant health disparities exist between sexual minority and nonsexual minority youth. To determine behaviors that contribute to negative health outcomes among sexual minority youth, for the first, the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System added a question to ascertain sexual identity to the standard questionnaire used by states and large urban school districts in2015. This report presents the findings from the analysis.
