This week, during National Infant Immunization Week, CDC and the CDC Foundation are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2016 CDC Childhood Immunization Champion Award. This annual award recognizes individuals who make significant contributions toward improving public health through their work in childhood immunizations. Each year, up to one person from each of the 50 U.S. states, 8 U.S. Territories and Freely Associated States, and the District of Columbia is recognized.
