A continuum of services including HIV testing, HIV medical care, and antiretroviral therapy can lead to viral suppression, improved health and survival of persons infected with HIV, and prevention of HIV transmission. CDC analyzed data from the National HIV Surveillance System and the Medical Monitoring Project to estimate diagnosis, care, and treatment among those living with HIV in the United States during 2011. This report summarizes the results of that analysis. |
