You are subscribed to CDC's Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) email subscription service.
In response to requests for VISs in text-based formats, to facilitate integration into electronic systems, CDC is beginning to produce VISs as rtf (rich text format) files. These will be accessible as separate links on the VIS homepage (www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/vis/default.htm) along with the current pdf files. These files may be converted into other text-based formats (e.g., xml or html) if necessary.
These files will be posted individually as they are created. As of June 7, 2012, four VISs (hepatitis A, hepatitis B, MMR, and polio) have been converted to rtf files and are available.
