You are subscribed to CDC's Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) email subscription service. The MMR vaccine information statement has recently been updated and is now available.
This interim VIS has been updated with minor changes throughout, and this new version will be the basis for a "final" edition, which should be available in several months.
As always, it is preferable to begin using the new edition immediately, but since there are no major changes, existing stores of the MMR VIS may be used.
This is the first VIS to feature a 2D barcode (located on the back near the edition date). This will allow providers with a 2D barcode reader and the appropriate software to scan the VIS name and edition date into an electronic system such as an electronic medical record or IIS, as an OPTIONAL alternative to entering this information manually.
