Safe Boating ~ During National Safe Boating Week, May 1622, and all year, "Wear It!" Everyone, on all types of boats, should wear properly-fitted life jackets, or personal flotation devices (PFD). By wearing a life jacket, you can dramatically decrease your chances of drowning in a boating incident.

H1N1 Virus (Swine Flu) ~ Novel influenza A (H1N1) is a new flu virus of swine origin first detected in April, 2009. The virus is infecting people and spreading from person-to-person, and has sparked a growing outbreak of illness in the United States with an increasing number of cases being reported internationally as well.
