Healthy Children ~ It is never too early or too late to address the health of your family. Here are a few ideas for showing your children how to live a healthy life.

Cancer Registries ~ Public health professionals need information about cancer cases diagnosed and deaths from cancer to understand and address the nation's cancer burden. State cancer registries, supported by CDC's National Program of Cancer Registries or the National Cancer Institute's Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program, collect these data.

Healthy Babies~ Not all birth defects can be prevented. But a woman can increase her own chance of having a healthy baby.

Severe Cough? ~ Pertussis (whooping cough) is very contagious and can cause serious illness for adults and childrenespecially infants. Make sure your young children get their recommended five shots. Adolescents and adults can also protect themselves by getting a booster vaccination.

Salmonella ~ CDC is collaborating with public health officials to investigate an ongoing multistate outbreak of human infections due to Salmonella serotype Typhimurium.
