Next Carrier Grade Linux Workgroup meeting

Timo,

This would take up some valuable time in our face-to-face work. Another
option is that if SCOPE has a room/location for CGL to meet, then we
could co-locate the meetings?

Dan, Glenn,

Would it be possible that LF CGL folks would come to SCOPE meeting place
about 3pm on

Wednesday, March 5th ? This way Paul Steinberg, Ron Breault and others
could participate

the discussion.

Thanks !

Absolutely

I think what we should do is create a specific agenda item, towards the
end of the afternoon, to discuss CGL/Scope process, any update on the
CGOS leads/chairs and what our objectives are for the following day when
CGL and SCOPE meet together. Timo is instrumental to that, plus of
course any other topics you wish to join us for.

This is an open CGL Workgroup meeting. Anyone on the mailing list that
is interested, please contact us.

regards,

-glenn

Glenn, taken the situation with CGOS leads, I would like to attend this
meeting partly. I need to be

in SCOPE "sponsors" meeting on March 5th at least in the beginning, but
I could try to be at WR

maybe at about 1pm. Would that be helpful ?

Cheers

The next Carrier Grade Linux Workgroup face to face meeting will be on
Wednesday, March 5 in preparation for the SCOPE Members meeting on March
6 and March 7.

The Workgroup meeting will be hosted at Wind River Systems headquarters
in Alameda, CA.

This location is only about 30 miles from the Scope Alliance Members
Meeting which is in San Mateo, CA.

The agenda will be sent in more detail later, but essentially we will
continue our work in creating the CGL Gaps document and CGL Requirements
document.

We will also cover our agenda for the upcoming Linux Foundation
Collaboration Summit and other activities.

The meeting will probably run from 9:00 to 4:00pm.

Please respond directly to me if you plan to attend the CGL Workgroup
meeting so that I can get a headcount.

Hotels in the area are:

Marriot Oakland

1001 Broadway

Oakland, California 94607 USA

Phone: 1-510-451-4000

(This is the nicest hotel and about 5 miles from Wind River, but in
Oakland...in case you are worried about your safety. Some people
expressed concerns about getting around at night)

Hawthorn Suites LTD.

1628 Webster Street
Alameda, CA 94501
Tel: (510) 522-1000

This is a member of the Hilton family, but rather a plain hotel.

It is only about 2 miles from Wind River and several restaurants are
close by.
