Thanks for reviewing, I've picked it up.

Yeah :/

STRICT_KERNEL_RWX is not on by default in all our defconfigs, so that's
probably why no one caught it.

I used to run the BPF selftests but they stopped building for me a while
back, I'll see if I can get them going again.
