Regarding btusb driver i am on Ubuntu 8.04. It was not in Synaptic and Googling found  a file "btusb-kmp-0.1-2.1.src.rpm"
and installed it using alien.  modprobe btusb or modprobe btusb-kmp returned errors that module could not be found.
