Interior Leaders Meet with Tribal Communities in Minnesota

Investing in America Agenda Delivers $63.8 Million to Clean Up Orphaned Oil and Gas Wells     

Several large and rusting fuel tanks sit abandoned and overgrown with weeds and small trees.

Interior announced a nearly $64 million investment from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to clean up more than 300 orphaned oil and gas well sites in national parks, forests, wildlife refuges, national conservation lands and on other public lands and waters.

My gratitude goes out to the federal firefighters who are assisting with the blazes in Canada. I'm praying for the safe return of all U.S. firefighters and for the safety and health of the many impacted by the fires and poor air quality.
