WILDLIFE TRIVIA OF THE WEEK
Wildlife Trivia of the Week

Common raccoons are nocturnal animals that are adept at many forms of locomotion, including climbing, walking, running, and swimming. Unlike most animals, raccoons can descend a tree backward or forward. Their diverse means of getting around allow them to eat almost anything! Raccoons are highly omnivorous, which means they eat both plants and animals. The plants they eat may include berries, fruits, nuts, and acorns.
