Short term solution: use duckduckgo

I use the following script placed in my bin directory in a file named ddg and chmoded to execute.

sr duckduckgo $*

I just exchanged an email conversation with a duckduckgo tech staff member who helped
me resolve a blocking issue with Lynx. Short version, remove Firefox from any user-agent string.

Good luck.
