Hi Karen, to answer your concerns: I maintain the Slint mailing list at freelists.org since November 2019 with no significant issue. We had once a spammer, whom a support person helped to get rid of. The website may be not as accessible as one would wish, but fortunately all actions (join, leave, set and change options) can be done through email. See instructions below (footer of emails for the Slint list adapted to a would-be blinux list): The blinux mailing list. Archive: https://www.freelists.org/archive/blinux To subscribe or unsubscribe, email blinux-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the subject 'subscribe' or 'unsubscribe', then answer the email you will receive. More: email blinux-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with as subject 'help' or 'commands' Once registered, you would send emails to blinux@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Also, the senders are identified in emails registered users receive from the list, but the emails are dropped from the archive. This way you who is speaking, while not facilitating spam.
