Anyone aware of the Piper voice?

Yes, it's neural network-based, and there are various trained models (i.e., each trained on a different voice) available.

Piper used to have performance and latency issues. I don't know whether this has changed in recent development. As I remember, the new Spiel speech server supported by Orca supports it.
