I use the slash key to find too, but often I find the "next/previous link/form-control" navigation useful. As one who touch-types, I'd prefer to keep my hands on the home-row, and using tab (or occasionally shift+tab) let me do that. Even better, the "j" and "k" VI keys let me do that in lynx-the-cat when I have VI keys enabled. But as far as I can tell, links-the-chain doesn't offer either. So to navigate that next/previous, I have to move my hands from the home row over to the arrow key-cluster. -tim On 2023-11-30 13:00, Karen Lewellen wrote: > Not sure what the goal would be. > if I want to find something I use the slash find feature. takes me where I > wish to go on a page. > i do not believe I have ever used tab or shift tab to navigate anywhere. > > > > On Thu, 30 Nov 2023, Tim Chase wrote: > > >I wish I knew how to make Tab & shift+Tab work like in other browsers. The up/down arrows navigate the links/fields, but I wish I could either use tab or the VI keys (j & k) to navigate.
