apt-get install build-essential libasound2-dev libpulse-dev
libgtk2.0-dev unzip git
OK this just gets you the tools you need to compile the source code. Now
you need to run
git clone https://github.com/dectalk/dectalk.git
cd dectalk/src
and then you can run the rest of the commands you could see on the
Github page and follow those up with
sudo make install
to actually get the software to be recognized by speech-dispatcher. Hope
