I am using Ubuntu 20.04, installed on the machine, not in a VM. Once logged in, I can use the super key ("Windows" key; left side of keyboard between Ctrl and Alt) to open the search box, then type "settings". That account setup thing might be part of the initial login where, as a "convenience", you are asked to log into Google, Facebook, whatever ...I just ignored those (hit Esc or Alt+F4 until it goes away). -- Karl Wilbur 513-322-2481 karl@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx On Mon, Jan 3, 2022 at 5:16 PM Linux for blind general discussion < blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hi! > I have installed Ubuntu 20.04 on a virtual machine in VMware Fusion on my > Mac.
