I confirm that Slint is accessible with speech and Braille from the
beginning of
installation. I also provides up to date accessibility software: espeakup,
speechd-up, fenrir, orca, speech-dispatcher emacspeak, speechd-el, brltty to
mention the main ones, all installed by default. Speech and braille are
available in text mode as in graphical environments like Mate.
The settings specific to espeakup or speechd-up or your hard synthesizer, if
saved with the command speakup-save, will be restored at next boot.

In order to get debian screen reader accessibility going, you have to know
about and use a boot parameter. With slint and Jenux, no such boot
parameter is necessary.
