you need to execute lspci -qk and send it's output.

I have yet another idea.
Since this machine on which I want to put arch runs ubuntu, could I use ubuntu to find what hardware and/or driver I would need with arch?

to see, whether you need drivers or not i need to look at your ls-pci output.
or you can provide your model if it's a laptop.

I went there, but failed to understand much. It was suggested one could go get drivers, but how might this be done if the machine cannot get on the net?

I got arch on a usb stick.
After booting and using arrow down, then enter, arch came up talking.
But even though there is an ethernet cable, I cannot get on the net.
Never is this a problem with ubuntu or pop os or with fedora.
Anyone aware of a way of getting on the net?
I also have a u s b wireless wifi adaptor, but with arch, not sure what to do.
