I managed to get background sounds playing with tintin-alteraeon. To make that happen if you're interested try the following: 1) install tintin, 2) install sox, 3) cd /opt, 4) git clone https://github.com/lilmike/tintin-alteraeon, 5) /opt/tintin-alteraeon/contrib/tintin-alteraeon for console users, or 6) /opt/tintin-alteraeon/contrib/tintin-alteraeon.desktop for graphical users.
