Re: podcast clients with search capability

The only one I know of like that is gpodder3 or gpodder. The gpo command is the command line version that comes as part of gpodder and if memory serves you have to use the graphical version gpodder to get access to the search capability. You'll be searching gpodder.org for podcasts so it's a walled garden situation but so long as the fruit you want is in that garden for as long as that fruit is in that garden you should be golden. Now if a podcast client could be developed to use google and search intelligently for podcasts that would be a much larger garden. It would help if itunes could be subscribed to and podcasts downloaded from there too since that walled garden is quite large by now and Apple never saw fit to write an itunes for any version of linux command line or graphical.
