Does anyone know what that go to key command does?

Hi Martin,
You likely got there when trying to switch consoles with alt-f1 and then
accidentally pressed speakup f1 which puts you into help mode.
Pressing space gets you out of there again.

control mode and wasn't sure how I got there or how to get out.
I am not a newcomer to linux or speakup so what I need is
to get more formal knowledge rather than simply stumbling on
things by accident.
I think I have actually been using speakupsince around New year's
day of 2009
