It's still far better to run on *real* Linux. *Some* development tools
*may* work, but your access to devices will be far more limited even
than running Linux inside of a different Linux from a virtual machine.
Also, since there is no audio input or output, how are you going to make
a speech synthesizer on a machine that can't make a sound? That is like
trying to type on a computer with no keyboard. It justt can't work. You
may be able to build the program, but there will be absolutely no way to
test it. So instead of jumping through all Microsoft's hoops to get
something that really doesn't work, just boot up Linux and build there,
where you can test and develop in a more effective way.
