Hi.
I'm using Chromium with chromevox on Debian jessie.

You want to create
/usr/lib/chromium/extensions/kgejglhpjiefppelpmljglcjbhoiplfn.json with
the following json contents:

{
  "external_update_url": "https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx";
}

Then run chromium --enable-speech-dispatcher.

Unfortunately, it tends to default to a non-English voice, and it tends
to be a bit tricky to deal with.
On my system to change the voice hit control-; o o
Then tab five times and you'll be on the voice selector. If that
doesn't work try backtabbing one.

There are complaints about chrome with speech-dispatcher.
It does sometimes drop trailing informational text.
I don't find it particularly annoying.

I find that iceweasel has slightly better overall accessibility, but a
couple of sites chromium is better for.
