That's one seriously mixed up NickServ! Every time I had used irc I had my nick taken. That's twice in the last week and once today. I was successful issuing /msg NickServ RELEASE so I had the correct credentials this time. That whole environment is entirely too unstable as concerns identity. I managed earlier to join the nethack channel and chat with users on that channel and left the channel and disconnected from irssi and went to Supper. As soon as I got back, NickServ was acting stupid again and wouldn't authenticate me so that's when I sent that RELEASE command. If the whole network is that unstable, I'm surprised it has any regular users this far into its lifecycle. Probably the only way I managed to keep the identity I had established this time was because of /msg NickServe SET ENFORCE ON /msg NickServ GROUP. jude <jdashiel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Twitter: @jdashiel _______________________________________________ Blinux-list mailing list Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
