Greetings!
I probably should have written this a couple of days ago.
I enrolled in an EDX Linux course. One result is that I got an e-mail
with an offer of one hundred bucks off the cost of a Linux Foundation
certification exam. I think I have to pay up by this coming Tuesday,
and then have twelve months within which to schedule the exam.
I'm especially interested in what I think is the "linux engineer" exam.
As I recall, the price is three hundred dollars, so a hundred off that
sounds like a good deal. (I've even restarted studying in that
direction, especially since the Bookshare book I downloaded seems to be
at least a good start.) I just don't want to put down money right now
unless it's clear that I will be able to get the full benefit of the
exam, money being fairly tight right now. I'll therefore be grateful
for any good info on this.
Al
