 I don't think we're in agreement that the Lynx feature set is
 compatible with  what the web community would generally regard as
 Javascript.
I'll note that the pace of Lynx stable releases is much slower than  the
 development speed of other browsers and that's a significant issuein
 and of itself.
I was not able to find a discussion of javascript support in
 lynx-current.  If you can point me at a description of what javascript
 modern lynx-current supports I'd be very interested in that.
