Thanks for this, will have to go this way soon when XP finally falls off the end. How destructive of existing file system is it? my file data set is the all important, amazing how many Os now don't seem to take that so seriously now. And we can't and imho, shouldn't put all our stuff in clouds, we'll get to regret it,eventually. How easy/difficult is it to have multiple hdds or attach external usb ones? I've had at least 2 since DOS days. Vinux (www.binuxproject.org) 2. Ubuntu Vinux comes up with a screen reader right from the install disk. Ubuntu just needs a creel-s to start up speech after booting. I use Ubuntu 13.04 here (mostly for my ham radio stuff). I also have a mac (which I am typing this email on) and a windows laptop (windows 7, UGH!). hope this info helps. -eric On May 7, 2014, at 6:23 AM, Bhavya shah wrote: > Dear all. > I require information about the accessibility of netbook oriented > Linux distributions. > Currently, I use Windows 7 Starter but it is considerably slow. > Therefore I would like to switch to Linux > Please tell me if any of you use a Linux distribution for netbooks. > Thank you very much. > > -- > Best Regards > Bhavya Shah > Contact Details: > E-mail address: bhavya.shah125@xxxxxxxxx > Skype username: bhavya.09 > > _______________________________________________ > Blinux-list mailing list > Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx > https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list _______________________________________________ Blinux-list mailing list Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list _______________________________________________ Blinux-list mailing list Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
