Fedora 20, talking login gone

I updated my Fedora 20 on Tuesday.  Rebooting the next day, I found no 
talking login.  Orca comes up once I log in, which is easy enough to do, 
but I have no idea what killed the speaking.  Yes, I looked in yum.log. 
 Anybody else have this experience?  Thanks!
