Re: Does anyone on here know how to make a google voice call from the command line?

I was trying, at first, to use w3m in the same way as I would use firefox to make such calls. For some reason, and it might be scripting, the calls
failed to go through.

Here's what I did:

First of all I started a screen session. In one of these windows, I started linphonec, the command line version of linphone. In the next, I started
w3m and went to google.com/voice. First of all, I tried with the desktop version and got nowhere. Then I went to the mobile version of the site and
attempted the same experiment. The results were the same. That's weird, because I thought that mobile sites used something other than scripts to do
their dirty work. On one of these occasions, I kept getting 500 internal server errors. Why would they have their servers configured wrong,
especially on the mobile end of things.

Well, I tried again the other day and got nothing at all. I just got a message that the call was being made but nothing happened.

Hope you can help.
