TalkingArch is trying to use your system's HDMI audio output, rather than the onboard sound card. If a system has multiple audio devices at boot, the default device will be whichever device the kernel finds first when probing for audio hardware. In your case, unluckily, it happened to be the HDMI audio output. I have a couple of options for handling this on the CD. 1. Blacklist the hdmi audio modules, or 2. Write a little script which loops through all of the available sound cards, prompting the user for which one to use. Option 2 is probably the best, in the long run. -- Chris _______________________________________________ Blinux-list mailing list Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
