It seems that 12.04 does not have the latest gnu autotools, and may also have other problems. I have been unable to get Orca to start, despite having received many suggestions. Will upgrading to 12.10 require reinstallation? The machine is dual-boot. If reinstallation is necessary, can I then run update-grub to have it find the other OS's automatically?
