As always, it's a trade-off between various factors such as stability and reliability vs. frequency of updates to the latest releases of packages, the extent to which decisions are made by default upon installation and whether you like those decisions, the comprehensiveness of the package repository, etc. My only recommendation is to install Clang for C or C++ development in addition to Gcc. The error messages in Clang are excellent and it can also perform code analysis to detect bugs that might otherwise escape notice. _______________________________________________ Blinux-list mailing list Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
