Has Linux anywhere got a tool that will take as input an url point at a file name and return the md5sum of that remote file? If such a tool does exist, it would be possible to pre-emptively check remote files with missing md5sums and store those sums on a local machine so once the file is downloaded file integrity can then be checked with the local version of md5sum. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Jude <jdashiel-at-shellworld-dot-net> <http://www.shellworld.net/~jdashiel/nj.html> _______________________________________________ Blinux-list mailing list Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
