Hi.
Well, I think that python 2.6 is included in squeeze.
I'll have to remove that some way.
But the errors can be another thing too, I thought that pebrot would ask for
the information when I run it for the first time, but I have to edit the
pebrotrc file.
How do I use pebrot? I can't find any documents about commands and such
things.

Hi,
I used something called gtmess, written in C and it worked fine. I
nowadays mostly use pebrot since I haven't figured out how finsch from
pidgin works.
I however got pebrot working right out of the box so probably the python
installation is not complete for you. Python v2.5 works best with pebrot
so maybe you have a too new python.

Hi.
I've tried to get both pebrot and centericq to work in text mode in
debian, but can't get them to work.
Just a lot of errors abot libraries and such things, libcurl and libicq
for centericq for example.
ANy ideas on another client?
