The message saying "Event not found" is not coming from eSpeak at all.
It's a message from Bash telling you that it can't find a history event
that contains "Hello World." Do you get this message every time you try
to send text to eSpeak? Try something like
speak hello
or
speak " testing 1 2 3 4"
You should hear "hello" or "testing 1 2 3 4" spoken or you should be
getting an entirely different error message such as "libportaudio.so.0:
Cannot load shared object: no such file or directory." or any number of
other errors. "Event not found" *only* comes from Bash to the best of my
knowledge.
