This is probably not helpful or practical, but what if you boot the DVD
in a virtual machine? Specifically, Qemu with the -curses option might
show you a help screen. If it uses a graphical boot menu, that won't
work. Is there a file listing boot options? What about syslinux.cfg on
the DVD which might show the initial boot menu? Is there any online
documentation or an installation manual?

Yeah, I tried that, which resulted in yet another beep a few seconds
