This is probably not helpful or practical, but what if you boot the DVD in a virtual machine? Specifically, Qemu with the -curses option might show you a help screen. If it uses a graphical boot menu, that won't work. Is there a file listing boot options? What about syslinux.cfg on the DVD which might show the initial boot menu? Is there any online documentation or an installation manual?

Did you try to type enter?
Yeah, I tried that, which resulted in yet another beep a few seconds later.
