Thanks. I solved the problem and here is what I wound up doing:
cd /ver/cache/apt/archives
dpkg --force-overwrite -i python-antlr_2.7.7-11_all.deb
Then do the apt[get update and apt-get dist-upgrade over again.
I tried removing antlr and reinstalling and it still had issues because
they both try to write the same file in the same directory specifically
/usr/share/python-support/antlr/antlr.py.

Hi Tom
Try removing the antlr package and then reinstall it again
sudo apt-ge remove antlr
sudo apt-get install python-antlr antlr

I did an upgrade from Ubuntu 8.10 to 9.04. It constantly is erroring
telling me it is having a problem installing python-antlr because it is
trying to install antlr.py which has already been installed by the antlr
package. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this conflict?
