| I am having problems running mii-tool of el5 linux: [root@localhost libexec]# mii-tool eth0 SIOCGMIIPHY on 'eth0' failed: Operation not supported Here is my kernel version: [root@localhost libexec]# uname -a Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.18-128.1.1.el5 #1 SMP Mon Jan 26 13:59:00 EST 2009 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux I heard that there were problems with mii-tool implementations in kernel version 2.6 and thereafter. There were also talks about a patch, but has not been able to find anything. Does anyone knows of a workaround? Thanks, |
