Hi, I also use ProFTPD. I had a brief look at VSFTPD which looks nice, but apparently setting up virtual logins is a pain so I abandoned it. I also work on a host which uses NCFTP Server (which is a commercial product), and frankly don't see any reason to use it over any of the free offerings (the decision to use it was not mine).
